Welcome to Sync for Shopify (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and app built for monday.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use our app on the monday.com platform.
1. Data Collection and Storage
- No Third-Party Data Storage: We not store, process, or transmit your monday.com or Shopify data on any third-party servers or services outside of monday.com’s secure infrastructure.
- OAuth Token Storage: We store your Shopify OAuth token to enable secure syncing between monday.com and Shopify. This token is stored exclusively using monday.com’s secure storage mechanisms and is never transmitted or stored outside the monday.com platform.
- Secure Communication with Shopify: The only external domain accessed by the app is
api.shopify.com, which is used solely for secure communication with the official Shopify API as required for integration. - No Credentials Collected: We never ask for, collect, or store your monday.com or Shopify account passwords.
2. How We Work
- monday.com Platform: We are built using monday.com’s app framework, which enforces strict security and data isolation. All app code runs within monday.com’s infrastructure and cannot access data outside of what is explicitly permitted by the platform’s APIs and your granted permissions.
- Data Access: The app only accesses monday.com and Shopify data necessary to provide syncing and integration features. No data is exported, transferred, or stored outside of monday.com’s secure environment.
- Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your data outside of your monday.com account and your Shopify store. All data is under your control and can be disconnected or removed at your discretion.
3. Security

- No External Data Transfer: We do not transmit your data outside of monday.com’s infrastructure.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Automatic Data Deletion: Upon uninstalling the app from your monday.com account, all data associated with your account, including OAuth tokens, will be deleted from our systems within 10 days.
5. Cookies and Tracking
- No Tracking: We do not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technologies.
6. Your Rights
- Data Control: All your data remains under your control within monday.com. To manage, export, or delete your data, please use monday.com’s built-in tools or contact your monday.com administrator.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on our website. Your continued use of Sync for Shopify after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
