Prerequisites
Before installation, ensure you have:
- Administrative privileges on both platforms
- An active Shopify store
- A monday.com workspace with appropriate permissions
Option 1: Starting from monday.com
Step 1 - Install the monday.com App
Click the following link to install from monday.com marketplace.
Then click "Install" to add the app to your account.
Step 2 - Install the Template
After installation, you will be asked to select a workspace to install the pre-configured boards. If you are not prompted, then you must manually add the workspace template from the template center.
Step 3 - Open the "Getting Started" Board View
Navigate to the newly created set of boards. Inside the "Getting Started" board view, you'll see a setup screen prompting you to connect your Shopify store.
Step 4 - Connect to your Shopify store
Click "Connect Shopify" on the setup screen. This will open a new window and prompt you to authorize the connection from your Shopify store.
Once you accept, you will be immediately directed back to monday.com to authorize the connection from your monday.com workspace.
Step 5 - Complete the Connection
After completing the Shopify installation and authorizations, return to your monday.com board. Your Shopify store will now appear in the dropdown selector. Click "Confirm". This will save the store and begin the board mapping to the rest of the boards in the folder (like Orders, Customers, etc.)
Option 2: Starting from Shopify
Step 1 - Install from Shopify App Store
Visit the Shopify App Store and search for "Sync for monday.com" or use our direct installation link here.
Accept permissions and click "Install" to add the app to your Shopify store.
Step 2 - Install the monday.com App
You'll be redirected to monday.com to authorize and install the app on your monday.com account.
Step 3 - Install the Template
After installing the app, you should be prompted to add the pre-configured boards into your workspace. If not then you must install the "Sync for Shopify" template from monday.com's Template center. (See instructions above)
Step 4 - Complete the Connection
Open your newly created set of boards and navigate to the "Getting Started" board view. You'll see your Shopify store already available in the dropdown selector.
Select your store and click "Save" to complete the connection.
Important: Each board template can only sync with one Shopify store. To manage multiple stores, install additional templates from the monday.com template center. Note: You will need to install Integration for monday on each Shopify store you wish to manage
What's Next?
At this point, your store is connected and will begin receiving new orders, customers, inventory, etc to your monday boards, just like that! You may also try importing historical data from the same Getting Started board view.

Trial & Billing
Your installation includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, billing appears on your monday.com account based on your workspace size and usage requirements.
Security & Permissions
The integration requires specific permissions to synchronize data effectively:
- Shopify: Read access to orders, customers, checkouts and products
- monday.com: Read and write access to manage boards
