1: Add the Workspace Template
All synced eBay data lives in a monday.com workspace template, a folder of pre-configured boards that automatically organize your eBay orders. The workspace template is available in the template center after you install the app.
2: Connect Your Accounts
In the Getting Started board view of the workspace template, there is a screen to connect your accounts. This is done once and will link both monday.com and eBay so the app can sync orders on your behalf.
- Go to the Getting Started board and access the board view there
- Click the blue Connect to monday.com button and confirm access in the pop-up window
- Once monday.com is connected, click Connect eBay and sign in to your eBay selling account
- If nothing opens when you click either button, allow pop-ups in your browser and try again
Back on the Getting Started board, your connected eBay selling account will appear in the accounts list. If you ever see Reconnect required next to an account, click Reconnect to refresh the connection.
3: Link Your eBay Selling Account
Once your accounts are connected, you'll see a Configure Board section with a dropdown. Select the eBay selling account you want to use and click Save. A green confirmation will appear showing the board is configured.
This selection applies to both the Getting Started board and the eBay Orders board that came with your workspace template. All synced orders from the selected account will appear in the eBay Orders board.
If you sell from multiple eBay accounts, you'll need to install a separate workspace template for each one.
4: Sync Your eBay Data
Once the board is configured, the Import eBay Data section will appear. Select how far back you'd like to import orders — you can pick a preset number of days or enter your own — and click Start Sync. The maximum is 730 days, as eBay only provides access to up to two years of order history.
While the sync is running, the button changes to Cancel and the status area shows the sync is in progress. Only one sync can run at a time. When it finishes, the status updates to Success.
5: After Setup
After your first sync completes, your board will populate with eBay order rows. Depending on your board setup, individual order line items may also appear underneath each order as subitems.
You can click Start Sync again anytime to pull in more recent orders or refresh existing ones.
6: Managing Your eBay Accounts
From the main screen you can manage all of your connected eBay accounts. You can add another eBay account, reconnect an expired one, or remove an account. If you remove the account linked to this board, you'll need to connect a new one before syncing again.
To remove both your monday.com and eBay connections for this workspace, use the Sign Out of Apps option.
