1. Data Collection and Storage
App Configuration Data:
The monday.com app allows you to save the web address for your configured Boost Accounting Relay view. The saved address is stored in your browser in a functional cookie named boostAccountingRelayEmbedUrl for up to 180 days so the app can restore the view on return visits.
monday.com Account and Billing Data:
The app may access monday.com account, workspace, user, subscription, and plan-seat information needed to authenticate the app, operate the app shell, and validate marketplace subscription access.
QuickBooks Desktop Data:
The monday.com app does not ask for or store QuickBooks Desktop company-file credentials, account passwords, object mappings, or accounting records. Any QuickBooks Desktop-related view is provided through the configured Boost Accounting Relay page that you choose to open from monday.com.
No Credentials Collected:
We never ask for, collect, or store your monday.com or QuickBooks Desktop passwords through the monday.com app.
2. How BoostSync for QuickBooks Desktop Works
monday.com Platform:
BoostSync for QuickBooks Desktop is built for monday.com and uses monday.com OAuth, session, and marketplace infrastructure as part of the monday.com app shell.
Boost Accounting Relay View:
The app opens a setup link to Boost Accounting Relay, accepts a valid http or https web address, and renders that address inside monday.com. You control the web address you save.
Data Access:
The app only accesses information needed to load the configured view, validate the saved URL, manage the app session, and check subscription access. The monday.com app does not directly sync QuickBooks Desktop objects or write data back to QuickBooks Desktop.
3. Cookies and Tracking
Functional Cookie:
The app uses the boostAccountingRelayEmbedUrl browser cookie only to remember the saved Boost Accounting Relay view for up to 180 days.
No Advertising Tracking:
The app does not use advertising cookies and does not sell personal information.
4. Security
monday.com Security:
App authentication and access occur through monday.com infrastructure and are subject to monday.com security controls and your granted permissions.
URL Validation:
The app validates that a saved web address uses http or https before rendering the configured view.
Your Responsibility:
You should save only web addresses that you trust and are authorized to use inside your monday.com workspace.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Browser Storage:
The saved Boost Accounting Relay web address remains in your browser cookie for up to 180 days unless you clear it earlier. You can remove it by clearing the relevant browser cookie.
Uninstalling the App:
Uninstalling the app removes app access through monday.com. Browser-stored configuration may remain until the cookie expires or is cleared from the browser.
6. Your Rights
Data Control:
Your monday.com data remains under your control within monday.com. To manage, export, or delete monday.com data, use monday.com's built-in tools or contact your monday.com administrator.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Your continued use of BoostSync for QuickBooks Desktop after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
