Install the App

Prerequisites

Before installation, ensure you have:

  • Administrative privileges on both platforms

  • An active Shopify store

  • A monday.com workspace with appropriate permissions

Two-App Installation

To sync your Shopify orders to monday.com, you need to install apps on both platforms:

  • Sync for Shopify - Install from the monday.com marketplace

  • Integration for monday - Install from the Shopify App Store

You can start from either platform. Choose the path below that matches where you'd like to begin.

Starting from monday.com

Install the monday.com App

Visit the monday.com marketplace and search for "Shopify Order Sync" or use our direct installation link:

Click "Install" to add the app to your account.

Install the Template

After installation, install the "Shopify Order Sync" template. Select the workspace where you want to manage your Shopify data. Click "Use Template".

Open the "Getting Started" Board View

Navigate to the newly created set of boards. Inside the "Getting Started" board view, you'll see a setup screen prompting you to connect your Shopify store.

Install the "Integration for monday" App

Click "Install from Shopify" on the setup screen. This will open the Shopify App Store in a new window.

Complete the Connection

After completing the Shopify installation and authorizations, return to your monday.com board. Your Shopify store will now appear in the dropdown selector.

Select your store from the dropdown and click "Save" to complete the connection.

Starting from Shopify

Install from Shopify App Store

Visit the Shopify App Store and search for "Integration for monday" or use our direct installation link:

Accept permissions and click "Install" to add the app to your Shopify store.

Install the monday.com App

You'll be redirected to the monday.com marketplace. Install the "Sync for Shopify" app to your workspace by clicking "Install."

Install the Template

After installing the app, install the "Sync for Shopify" template from monday.com's Template center. Select the workspace where you want to manage your Shopify orders and click "Use Template."

Configure Your Board

Open your newly created set of boards and navigate to the "Getting Started" board view. You'll see your Shopify store already available in the dropdown selector.

Select your store and click "Save" to complete the connection.

What Happens Next

Once both apps are installed and your board is configured, you can

  • Set up automated boards using our pre-built templates

  • Configure your own automations

All sync features are accessed through your monday.com workspace.


Trial & Billing

Your installation includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, billing appears on your monday.com account based on your workspace size and usage requirements.

Security & Permissions

The integration requires specific permissions to synchronize data effectively:

  • Shopify: Read access to orders, products, and customers

  • monday.com: Read and write access to manage boards
